With the advent of globalization and opening up of Indian economy outside world, competition among industries has become has become stiff. To solve their managerial and administrative problems, they look up now to management institutions. Similarly there is an urgent need to prepare management students for jobs in multinational companies, by exposing them to newer technologies and emerging trends in decision making and problem solving skills. These objectives can only be achieved well by bridging the gap between industry and the academic institution. Hence Akshara Institute of Management Studies established Industry Institute Interaction cell in year 2012 and continuing the activities till now.

 

Vision : To impart quality education and employability skills.

Mission : To act as catalyst amongst industrialists, academicians to produce Managers to sustain global competition and challenges.

 

Functions :

1. Organizing workshops, conferences, guest lectures and symposiums under a joint participation of the faculty and the industries (The shaping of knowledge).

2. Participation of experts from industry to explain what is requires for the industry apart from curriculum prescribed by university.

3. Joint research programmes & field studies by Faculty and managers from industry

4. MBA project work in industries under joint guidance.

5. Practical training of students in industries.
